Advantages of stainless steel casting

1. As the wax mold size of stainless steel casting is accurate and the surface is smooth, otherwise, the mold is without parting surface, so the casting parts have a high dimensional accuracy and small surface roughness. The accuracy could reach IT6 level and the surface roughness is Ra12.5-Ra3.2 which can reduce the machining allowance or obtain the finished parts directly

2. The stainless steel casting can be used for thin-walled (0.5mm) castings or castings which is difficult for sand casting or complex shaped castings

3. The type of casting material is not restricted which may contain from aluminum, copper and other nonferrous alloys to cast iron, cast steel and advanced alloy steel etc At present ,it is almost the only casting method for heat-resistant alloy and complex small castings because the shell material is heat resisting.

4. From single piece to mass production, there's no limit to production batch for investment casting which could reach pipeline operation.
